Hertz Front Desk App

This app was designed to speed up the process of renting and returning cars rented through Hertz. Before the app was developed it took approximately 45 minutes for each car to be viewed on return with all markings indicated on paper before the customer could sign it back in. The new renter would then have to inspect the car with the form and indicate any missed damage. The App resulted in a turnaround time of about 15 minutes which in total saved 1000s of man hours per year. The App is in the process of being rolled out to all Hertz locations in Europe.
