Lego montage

This lego montage was completed after around 50 hours or work and has 4608 individual 1×1 lego blocks.
I used a specialist lego purchasing website to buy the pieces in bulk from The Netherlands, England, Austria and Germany I then used Photoshop to break the photograph down to 5 basic colours and to pixelate it and I used Illustrator to plan out a map and broke it down to segments. Each colour was added seperately using the map to direct where each 1×1 lego block should go. The frame was made from MDF, beading and epoxyi-resin. Looks class!
